According to a Zillow/Trulia announcment this week, if you use THEIR Video App your listings will get better search results on their family of websites.  “Listings with video walkthroughs are getting 3x more page views than listings without video walkthroughs*. Why?”
	Listings with video walkthroughs are sorted to the top of search results. Video walkthroughs are the first thing a buyer sees on the listing. Adding a video walkthrough notifies hundreds of buyers about your listing.

“Why video matters: Video walkthroughs provide interested buyers with a quick way to envision themselves in a home. Listings with video are prominently displayed and receive preferred placement in search results. Buyers with saved searches are notified when a new video is added.”

OK, so that is from the folks at Zillow/Trulia. Did you look at the video made with their App? Do have ANY listing that you would want to be associated with a shakey video taken with a cell phone? What would your Clients say?

Professional photography, video tours OR even better, 3D property tours are now or will quickly become the new standard. Sellers will insist on it and Buyers will expect it.  This is just another money grab by Zillow with the promise of better search results.
